Documents for both churches and riders/striders/welcomers taking part in The Ride+Stride event on Saturday 8th September are now available for downloading from the Ride+Stride page. They include sponsorship forms, welcome and direction signs, a list of participating churches, a visitors’ register, guidance etc.
The eighth edition of the Trust’s newsletter is now available for downloading. It includes articles on the Friends’ Visit to Thurgarton Priory and Lambley church, a profile of NHCT Trustee Dr Chris Brooke and a report on the renewal project at St Helen’s Church, Trowell.
The seventh edition of the Trust’s newsletter is now available for downloading. It includes articles on the beginnings of the Pilgrim Fathers in Nottinghamshire and the Connection with Babworth and Scrooby churches and details of an NHCT Grant Aided Restoration Project at St Helena’s church, Thoroton.
The Nottinghamshire Historic Churches Trust was founded in 1986 and gave its first grants in 1987. It raises money to grant-aid historic churches and chapels in Nottinghamshire. It is non-denominational and can consider making grants to any Christian historic church or chapel in need of support.
